As always, I have no doubt Uber and Lyft verify identity with the documents provided them, which may or may not be valid. That is the rub. When the government refuses to do its job, the people are at their mercy.

According to the Zero Hedge article, most of the products of Fourth Street Foods get shipped to Tyson Foods. The owner of Fourth Street Foods is a guy named David E. Barbe. According to OpenSecrets.org, he hasn't donated to any candidates since 2018 and only in amounts of $500-1000 and the last campaign donation was in 2018 to a Republican. The other six donations were to Democrats.

Both of those are violations of federal law because they're preventing federal officers from performing federal duties to enforce federal law.
