Uhm? Is that a declaration against interest in that they are confessing to hiring illegals without the required paperwork? Or worse, forged paperwork and IDs?

The Trib is such a liberal rag

Quote:

42-year-old construction worker who asked his last name not be used because he and his wife are undocumented {here illegally}, said he and his fellow workers keep a lookout for ICE when they're out on a job - if they go to work.

"We hardly work anymore; we're afraid to go out into the street," he said. "We don't look for work because we're scared."{Good.}
He estimates he brings in about 60% less than he used to before the raids began. He, his wife and their four children try to survive off the diminished salary that he brings in.{Consider going home?}

What a crying shame it would be if legal immigrants, or even worse: Americans, had to learn some of the lost arts like pouring slabs, framing houses, hanging drywall, installing roofs, or painting.

My late wife when I first met her had grown up in her dad's job doing lots of those things.

Her dad wanted a boy for his first kid. Got a girl. So he raised her like a boy. She didn't put up with *****

If she could do it, so could a bunch of younger men....

Democrats love cheap labor. They've been upset about it ever since the Civil War.

I like cheap labor too and am not a Democrat. Need more Americans to do the jobs the others will do. I will pay whoever is willing to do the job. If they have the skillset put them to work. These laborers are also not getting low pay.

When college was pushed on all of us we decided those jobs were beneath us. That is the truth.

High schools eliminated those programs because of demographic disparities. White people gravitated toward college prep while minorities gravitated toward "blue collar" prep. To solve the disparities high schools simply eliminated workforce programs and universities gave enrollment preferences to minorities.

Stupid social engineering. Things naturally happen and work fine, but noooooo, the government has to step in and throw a wrench into it.

Just the the J6ers that were prosecuted.

This admin needs to go after every single person that did ANYTHING in these situations. Add extra charges to the ones you can show tried to prevent the LEGAL immigration enforcement actions. Use their cell phone location info.

Scare THESE ****ers like they did all the innocent people caught up in that witch hunt.

Onward in 2026.

Former TSA agent shares Somali fraud stories from MN airport.
Quote:

"Since all this fraud came out, the connection's been made," Jaksa told Collin. "I didn't feel good about it then, and now it certainly all makes sense."

Jaksa said she was shocked to see "suitcases filled with millions of dollars cash. And the couriers were always Somali men traveling in pairs. And they got through the checkpoint."

Jaksa also said that it seemed as though this scenario occurred on at least a weekly basis. Jaksa alleged that in her five years with TSA, she probably saw upwards of one billion dollars go through the airport.
Quote:

So, it certainly seemed like it happened every week. The suitcases came in, and it was always, the MO was always two Somalian men, traveling in pairs. Sometimes they both had suitcases. And, so, the process was as a TSA agent, we would pull the bag, then we would bring them to a private screening room. And we would open the suitcase and make sure that that's all there was, which was stacks of cash. And a LEO would come, and maybe question them, and for sure take a picture of their identification and I'm assuming their plane ticket, I'm not sure. So, there is a trail out there, between that, it has to be documented somewhere. And all the cameras in the airport, I would imagine that if they'd like to find all this cash, they should start at the airport. Because in the five years I was there, I believe a billion dollars went through the airport.
