Not a lawyer but what if..........

What if this $2B that SCOTUS says must be spent was tied up in an investigation? What if this was considered nefarious $$$ and an official investigation was formed around it? I am just suggesting we should exhaust all measures to save money/decrease spending.

The money will probably be mostly released anyway but the judge now will have to reconcile himself with his lack of jurisdiction, and have any final order quickly overturned, imho. It's a fundamental change in dynamics when the DoJ is actually on Trump's side vs. the Obama/Biden judges, vs. the previous era of lawfare.

We need to next keep an eye on where the scumbags go to hide out now. We may have some vermin at the Bush school, but that program has nothing on Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs. They are essentially in a reorganize and react phase right now.

Christian Heiens was another one that was excellent with the polling/analytics leading up to the election. New podcast with data Republican;

Big surprise to no one, but fed consulting work is a fantastic gig. Long thread she put out:

Moldovan opposition calls for investigation into leftist propaganda spending by USAID of $32 million called out by POTUS. Source:
Quote:

The opposition is demanding hearings in the Parliament with the Director of the Intelligence and Security Service (SIS) and the General Prosecutor to clarify the use of these funds. This request was made following accusations from U.S. President Donald Trump, who claimed that $32 million provided by the United States was misused in support of left-wing political forces in Moldova. In response, the ruling party reminded the opposition that they too had benefited from U.S. funding during their time in power.

The parliamentary session began today with heated exchanges between deputies from the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) and the Bloc of Socialists and Communists (BCS). Specifically, Communist deputy Diana Caraman noted that Moldova was being cited for the third time as an example of the "absurd" use of U.S. funds and taxpayer money. To clarify how these funds were spent, Caraman requested hearings with SIS Director Alexandru Musteaa and General Prosecutor Ion Munteanu.

"We in the opposition have repeatedly criticized the methods of using financial assistance and the purposes for which this money is directed," said Caraman. "But when the U.S. president speaks about absurd spending on propaganda in Moldova, which contradicts both U.S. and Moldovan legislation, we call for SIS Director Musteaa and the General Prosecutor to be heard in Parliament to clarify where this money went, how it was spent, and who appropriated it."
"Bloc of Socialists and Communists." Perfect, that's who our government overlords wanted to fund.
Tears and gnashing of teeth, resignations at ActBlue sure seem…suspiciously timed.

Onwards with the shut down of the greatest terrorist organization in the history of the world:

Kind of amazing. 'Ric Grenell just revealed that his predecessor at the Kennedy Center was making 1.4 million dollars a year. The Kennedy Center's bank account was empty. Is there anything that the Democrats don't steal from and pay bloated salaries to cronies?' No. (I copied from an X post as it then led to some profanity.)

A 'frantic scene'? *****es, DOGE officers work for the President and have been deputized as US Marshals.

Check out the tenor of the Bezos Post article:
Quote:

"The United States African Development Foundation (USADF) offices were entered today by Mr. Peter Marocco and others who we do not believe are authorized to represent the agency. USADF is fully complying with its statutory obligations. We will follow the law with the expectation that our staff will be treated with dignity and respect," the aid organization said in a statement to The Post.

A federal judge imposed a pause Thursday evening barring the Trump administration, Marocco and DOGE employees from removing USADF President and CEO Ward Brehm.

U.S. District Judge Richard J. Leon issued an administrative stay until 5 p.m. Tuesday to allow the court to deliberate on the lawsuit "given the significant statutory and constitutional issues involved."

The order also stated that during this time, Brehm may not be removed from his capacity as president of the agency "absent a decision by the lawfully-constituted Board of USADF" or obstructed from his duties, and that defendants may not appoint Marocco or recognize any other person as president or as an acting board member without Senate confirmation.

In a statement to The Post, a White House official tied the nature of the DOGE visit to an executive order issued Feb. 19 from Trump eliminating "unnecessary government entities" and reducing their operations and personnel "to the minimum presence and function required by law."

"President Trump signed an executive order to reduce the federal bureaucracy, which reduced the USADF to its statutory minimum, and appointed Peter Marocco as acting Chairman of the Board. Entitled, rogue bureaucrats have no authority to defy executive orders by the President of the United States or physically bar his representatives from entering the agencies they run," White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly said.

A USADF official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to prevent professional retribution, told The Post in response to the White House statement: "Clearly, this White House spokesperson doesn't know who Ward Brehm is. He's hardly an entitled bureaucrat, having never worked for the government before he took this assignment. Ward is a well-known, conservative Republican businessman from Minnesota who has volunteered as a board member for USADF for over 20 years."
They ****ing know, idiot.

You know, when I toured Europe I would laugh off people who insisted to me that the US funded terrorism more than anybody. Now I'm not so sure. It surely looks bad with all this money flowing to far left groups.

I don't think there's any doubt it is true, really. I can't fathom the Iranians rivaling our budget, nor can I find a single significant terrorist group that didn't receive USAID/State/CIA funding. Follow Sarah Adams on X (@TPASarah) if any question about it, frankly.

HTS, which of course 'we' funded to overthrow Assad, has dropped the facade this week.

We need laws against this.

This is the big grift in DC.

You couldn't get away with this in private or corporate America.

If you were in charge of buying cookies worldwide for Chevron, and you switched cookie suppliers from Costco to your wife's cookie company without disclosing that conflict of interest to your ultimate boss, you would likely go to jail.

We need the same thing for Congress and the Bureaucracy.

You know what one of the major undersold causes of the French Revolution was? Overlapping courts with little or no jurisdiction issuing rulings that substituted the judge's personal or political interest above the law. Our system isn't supposed to work like this. Eventually what can't go on, won't. We will come out of the other side of this with a need at some serious judicial reform, no more lifetime appointments, etc. Yes we need tenured professionals that shouldn't be subject to the political whims, but when the judges become primarily political actors you need major reform. Additionally cases on the Federal government should get rotated out through the different circuits. Not everything should be run through DC.

Officials at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) as well as their grantees could potentially face criminal charges for foreign aid fraud after the agency's deputy administrator-designate found that the abuse of taxpayer funds was far worse than first reported, according to several news outlets.

During a confidential briefing Wednesday before the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Acting USAID Chief Pete Marocco, a Trump appointee, reportedly told Congress he is considering criminal referrals regarding fraudulent spending activities within the U.S. international aid agency.

"Apparently, there's still judicial action that has even come out as late as this morning," committee member Rep. Keith Self (R-TX), who was in the closed-door meeting, told The Daily Mail in an interview.

"They intend to refer USAID officials to DOJ," the congressman shared, noting how fraud is "a criminal act."

If it has a left wing slant, it is probably funded in some way by USAID or some other federal slush fund.

It seems like it would be easier to name the organizations that weren't funded by federal laundered NGO money than the ones that were.

What always got me about those polls was the oversampling of Dem*crat voters. The Dems are always ahead in the polls because they oversample by 10% or so, then act all surprised when a Republican wins.

As has been mentioned on other threads, Gallup's electorate model has been incredibly accurate in previous presidential elections to get the average weighting that should be applied to polls. The polls that weight significantly off from the Gallup average have been really bad. At this point, just look at Atlas Intel, People's Pundit, and Mark Mitchell for accurate polls, at least in presidential years.

Somewhere around 2019 folks were on here talking about a soft coup against Trump and what that would even look like.

Now folks have come to the realization that not only was there a soft coup against Trump, they were using your taxpayer money to do it, and the infrastructure that Trump is now dismantling had been in place for decades.

Finally evidence for the above fell victim to the very tactics that we are talking about on here right now.

Wild times.
