I already secured mine through Walmart. Was curious and just added one to cart now. Didn't complete the purchase but seemed like I could have easily. FYI for anyone still looking for one.

Currently weighing whether it'll be worth it to trade-in my old Switch at GameStop for $90. (As a standalone trade-in once my Switch 2 comes in.)
My only concern is that not every single Switch game may play correctly. (My main concern is Alien: Isolation as that was listed in the games that "start on Switch 2" but have issues.)
But also, $90 is barely enough for a Pro controller, so I'm not sure if it's worth it. Especially since I'd have to give up a pair of Joycons.
Thoughts?

Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle listing on Costco. Looks like no preorders planned. "will be available for purchase on 6/5/25" https://t.co/yxelL32XCF

I still have my original NES from 40 years ago in a box down in the basement. Feels like every system I've gotten rid of at some point I regretted it so I'll probably hang onto the original Switch. Gamecube is the biggest one that I miss playing. I'm hoping Switch 2 does those games justice but I'm holding off on buying the Gamecube controller until I hear whether that's worth it.TXAG 05 said:Brian Earl Spilner said:

I'd keep it. I still have my NES, SNES, N64, and Wii and still play them from time to time.
$35-40 isn't exactly minor, make that $45-50 with Nintendo's new pricing strategyHeavyMetalAg said:
Granted, I don't get rid of many games, and the amount you can usually get from used games is pretty minor anyway…
