Yeah, I got all the way up to payment, and it didn't go through, but luckily I looked back at Walmart and was able to click preorder.

I think once you make it through the line you are guaranteed one, so stick with the line if you're in it.

Keep trying on Target until it gets through- they're having errors like crazy, but you can eventually get it done.

Meanwhile still nothing on Best Buy. They really botched this.

I've been at 1 min remaining at Walmart for 15 minutes

Got one at walmart!

My card got declined and I had to put in a new one, wonder if the million "Place orders" that failed at target had anything to do with that.

Bestbuy line has started.

If I'm fortunate to get a second, it will go to someone here at MSRP (unless my brother also fails to get one)

Order complete at Target. Then I got an email saying the card was declined. But it still shows as a preorder in my order history. Not sure if I have it or not at this point.

Walmart let me in, but when I try to order, I get an error with the timer going.

It took me a couple attempts to get through. Keep trying.

Target emptied my cart. They're sold out

After literally 30 minutes of trying to check out at Target they finally cancelled the order and said out of stock. In line at BB and Wal-mart currently.

I've got my order confirmation email and order number from BB, so hopefully it holds up.

**** target. i had it twice, and first time it cancelled, and second time it never let me go through.

Best Buy came through!

I had it in check-out at Target and it wouldn't let me complete the transaction. Luckily I was in line at BB at the same time and was able to get through and complete the order seamlessly in just a few minutes. MUCH smoother than the Target train wreck.

Best Buy is now 2-0 in my books. I was able to secure the Switch in 2017 and now the Switch 2.

Target is probably the biggest frustration. Had it in my cart, it kept erroring out on checkout, and now it's gone. Best Buy is also frustrating for not starting on time. In line with them now, but no idea how long it was up before I got in. In line with Walmart, too. Hoping one of them comes up. GameStop is going to be a mess tomorrow…

Got it with BB for pickup on launch day. Worked flawlessly.
Target kept screwing up during checkout. Walmart put me in a line and said I wasn't likely to get it.

Just got a preorder at Walmart after being in the line a while

For anyone who misses out tonight, don't forget that GameStop begins their pre-order at 10:00 CST/11:00 EST in the morning. So you're not SOL just yet.

Got one just now through Best Buy. Joined the line about an hour ago.

Got one at EB Games in Sydney, but it doesn't release until June here.

I snagged the bundle off the Walmart app without any difficulty, and I didn't have to wait in line.

Got Switch 2 preorders in at Best Buy and Walmart! I also got Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, the pro controller, and the carrying case.

I was able to get one last night through Target but it wasn't easy. I kept having errors at every step of the process. The first time it was just getting it in the cart. Then I was having issues getting access to the cart. Then it was checking out that was an issue. We have the Target card because we save 5% when we use it and it kept giving me errors even though it's in our profile. I finally completed the purchase after about half an hour later using our regular credit card. Extra frustrating because I set an alarm to wake up since I was exhausted from work so I'm that much more tired this morning.
