Hey QV, can we get a pic of the watch collection in total?
Here is the majority of my collection, no artistic display or anything you get my freshly laundered bedsheet as backdrop.
These are my newer pieces, I keep the older ones in Abu Dhabi as they feel "new" when I get back there and get to wear them again. In AD I have an Omega Planet Ocean ultra deep summer blue, an Omega Worldtimer ceramic, a Tag Heuer formula 1 Red Bull, a Breitling Chronomat (Arabic dial). I also just sold FTAC my solid gold rootbeer and omega Seamaster 42mm on mesh. I also have a bunch of random Seikos, Hamilton's, and other cheaper watches in random drawers.
I have given myself a hard line threshold of $250k of watches in my collection. If I get any more I have to sell some to make room. FTAC has probably bought around $200k of watches from me over the past 2 years.
So; the watches (top to bottom left to right)
Breitling SuperAvenger 48mm- everyone has to have one
IWC Ingenieur 42mm ceramic- my first all ceramic watch love the ingenieur but 40mm is too small, this is the only one in 42mm
Rolex Deepsea Gold- just got this one in Abu Dhabi, absolutely love it, so big and heavy it leaves marks on my wrist when I wear it all day though
Bucherer Manero Peripheral- extremely underrated time piece, gorgeous movement and very classic
IWC chrono 43mm "F1" - this is the watch I bought in my hotel in Abu Dhabi after seeing F1. I wear this one a ton already, super comfortable and super sharp looking.
Rolex Explorer II Polar- my late father's watch. I can't wear it too much because it makes me sad.
RGM Pennsylvania- one of the few high end luxury watches made in USA. I had to wait a year for it; but it gets compliments every time I wear it.
Tudor Black Bay Pepsi- I've tried the Rolex Pepsi a few times but it just wears too small, this one is 1/6 the price, and wears much larger than 41mm.
Tudor Pelagos Ultra- New titanium pelagos I basically bought so the store would give me a call for a Rolex sometime. It's also a great fun dress beater and I love the spring loaded extension.
JLC Polaris Geophysic- one of my absolute favorites. Has two time zones so I can keep track of the time in Abu Dhabi and back home. Extremely beautiful on the wrist, great textile strap color, 10/10
Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda GT Chrono- the ultimate Aggie game day watch. They call the maroon "Granata" but it's the closest I've seen to Aggie maroon outside of a licensed product. Absolutely gorgeous movement, gorgeous detail on the dial, probably my most noticed and complimented piece.
