I used the tickets from the Astros Buddies club. Kids don't sit in the seats enough to warrant paying for the seat upgrades. Next time the kids will learn the time honored tradition of sneaking down into the lower sections.

Funny, we were talking about that yesterday. The upper deck is fine if they're the only seats I can get for a playoff or something, but it does get a little warm up there in the Summer.
If you don't mind sitting in the outfield, and I don't, that Chevy Silverado level is underrated. It's a smaller section, so lines usually aren't as long for restrooms or concessions, and I think you can just take the escalator down to the main concourse.

Well seeing how this was the first spring training with the challenge system it's fairly new….
There's been a couple of ejections when players did that.

No. The system in the minor leagues and in spring training the player initiates the ball/strike challenge.

So basically tapping your helmet is a clear and public way of telling the umpire you don't agree with the call. Kind of like the old school way of drawing a line where the ball was if you think it was outside….

And it's been told to the players for the regular season it's up to the umpire's discretion if they see someone tapping their helmet they can eject them for "arguing" balls and strikes.
I don't agree with the ejection but everyone in baseball knows it's a potential ejection if you do it.

This seems like a failure on MLBs part. Ejection is stupid and umpires are ******ed.
It's been well known forever you don't argue balls and strikes. Right or wrong. The way he melted down after doesn't help his cause at all.
And to top it off, statcast shows it was a strike. I don't know how the automated challenge system works compared to statcast, but the plates pretty long, a lot of these breaking balls catch the bottom of the zone.
