I was half kidding before but reading the post game pieces it's obvious where this is headed. Beat writers that have typically played up patience and looked for positives have turned. When that happens, it's usually the beginning of the end. He's playing for his job on a game by game basis. If United lay another egg on Saturday, I wouldn't be surprised to see him go.
My guess is that he'll scrape together enough of a response on Saturday to stick around for a while. But when you lose even the sunshine pumpers, it's just a matter of time.
