No, but it's crazy for more than half of the first round picks come from high school.


The reason I asked if this was your first MLB draft is because that is pretty normal. It's usually around 50/50 giver or take a few depending on the year

I guess I didn't realize the percentage was that high in previous drafts - especially how many were in the top ten, especially with the talent in the NCAA.

But, I probably haven't watched this intently in a while. I was just watching for Jace.

Brauny saying pick 48 is typically a defining spot for a lot of HS players. But it also seems teams are working the slot money trying to save some for players later to get them signed.

Well we're now at 55 with no damage done. Seeing a lot of SEC commits being picked off though. Which doesn't disappoint me

That's big. Can't wait to see him play!

We have a much better chance of having Johnny Coleslawinski and Clayton Freshcorn in the rotation. Need more pitchers with sides for last names.
