I'm sure this list will be long and distinguished...like my Johnson (staff don't ban me for quoting Top Gun). She's just not that memorable to me. I don't know why.

edit: props to tk for tu juan for showing me how senile I'm becoming

Oh, just Oscar noms for Best Actress, win for Supporting Actress (Les Mis), made like a billion dollars for Chris Nolan in Interstellar and as Catwoman in Dark Knight Rises.

And don't tell Monte Carlo, bc he might freak out that it was a political statement of some such, but was a 4 headliner of Brokeback Mountain.

Ok - no talk about Brokeback Mountain unless it involves Sydney Sweeney in the sequel....baby steps

Well I forgot about her as Catwoman in Dark Knight Rises until it popped up on YouTube. Michelle Pfeiffer will always be Catwoman for GenX

Interstellar is probably a top 10 underrated movie.

Since we're here, she also worked her ass off trying to save the 2011 Oscars as co -host,

How dare you forget Princess Diaries. Truly. Ths royalty of Genovia is the only royalty I'll recognize!

Also not mentioned was Love and Other Drugs, Get Smart, Ella Enchanted, oceans 8, and Alice in Wonderland.

But also, most recently was August Moon which was way better than I expected.

I loathe Anne Hathaway. It's completely irrational, and I can't even explain why.

Felt the same way, not sure why, never really watched her in anything...but she was really good in Batman so my opinion did a 180.

What's funny, assuming this happens, is that years from now the voters will award Chalamet the Best Actor award for some performance that's ok but nowhere near his best, but it'll be their way of saying, "Sorry, we really should have given it to you years ago for performances like in Marty Supreme!". Lol, never change Academy, never change.

pretty much what happened to Amy Madigan...long career, great actress, had better roles in the past...wins for having terrible makeup and looking like an insane clown.

Nothing will be as stressful of a watch as Uncut Gems.

I used to think this, and then I watched If I Had Legs I'd Kick You.

Good lord...

I watched a few trailers and finally read the synopsis .I believe that is a very well acted, well written, and artistic movie that I dont have any desire to experience. Cool message though.

Yes. Yes, she was very good.

When Hollywood starts getting on their preachy hypocritical soap box though, some of us are going to call it out. Remember, you're super saturated and probably numb to it all being in West Hollywood or Studio City or wherever you might be.

Answer this.

And answer it honestly. As a non-lib, you should be capable of having rational and honest discussion.

Did you watch the telecast? And if you did, did you watch because you cared about what some California voters thought were the best achievements in film this year, or did you just rub your hands together looking for something to fight about on the internet?

If you did watch the telecast, did you actually see anything particularly egregious? If so, what was it?

I watched a little bit as we kept checking to see when the performance of "Golden" by the Kpop DH girls would start, for my little one. Within a minite of first turning it on, I saw Javier Bardem and his fake "check the box" "free palestine - no war" statement. Next time I tuned in, for a min or two, it was the KPOP DH acceptance speech where they were rudely cutoff.

But I saw several clips floating around yesterday of preachy libs on their soapboxes...that's usually where I get my Oscars content. One weirdo who looked like Napoleon Dynamite went on a pretty long nonsensical political rant. I can't wait for Mel Gibson, or some other non-leftist actor who feels like they have nothing to lose, to get up there and really call the whole room of Hunger Games hypocrites out....for the trash they leave behind for "the help" to clean up, to the insanely large carbon footprints, to their refusal to open their gates communities to unvetted third world migrants etc etc. One day it's gonna happen!

I remember her walking her dog and placing its poop bag on a person's car after they took a picture of her. That's all I can remember about her. It's pretty stupid to be honest. Like whenever I'm in the car or watching a commercial with Ariana Grande in it, I tell my kids about the time she licked a donut and then put it back to be sold.
That's the stupid stuff that people like me, who never pay attention to anything Hollywood-related for the most part, remember.
All of this was probably decades ago.
