Unfortunately, if the republicans don't take care of business, blow the midterms, and lose the presidency in 2028 they will all be hired right back, probably with back pay for the inconvenience.

Virtually all of what she published last week was already documented but she had the focus to aggregate it and re-publish it to generate attention and create the pressure necessary to get Prasad to resign. Loomer gets smeared or dismissed as a grifter but she is doing the job that Trump appointees would not i.e. getting rid of deep state holdovers by putting the spotlight on them.

The sources that are now afraid to go on-record with the NYT were never elected and probably never even appointed and confirmed. They are just Fairfax and Loudon county career bureaucrats. They aren't scared enough to become whistleblowers because they are part of "the resistance" to the will of the electorate expressed through President Donald Trump. I voted for this.

It just was not needed anymore. Maybe 50 years ago when there were only 3 networks and some good documentaries could be found on the public channel that were too unprofitable to be shown on the networks. Even then we didn't really need them.
