What, I guess with the same compassion the leftist bureaucrats showed to those that didn't want to take the jab?

I suppose Trump or Musk can put a thank you at the end of the email telling them to clean out their desk and that there services are no longer needed.

There is nothing anyone can say that will make them feel good about getting fired. Better to be to the point, do it quickly, and let them move on. 8 months severance was available to the smart ones that chose to take it. The rest made their own beds.

This is why we need laws that make weak internal controls in government agencies a crime.

If we had SOX / SARBOX type environment in place in government, this would have been a crime regardless of who knew what when. The fact that the controls were lax enough to allow it to happen would itself be a crime.
