Not so much purging of the deep state but this 5th Circuit decision effectively Reuters the National Labor Relations Board because their Administrative Law Judges have unconstitutional protection from removal and exercise substantial executive authority. This is a big win for SpaceX.

Good, the NLRB has been utterly out of control. Just as with the 'civil rights division' at DoJ (which has been 75% purged this year, oh btw), which sued SpaceX over hiring discrimination against illegal aliens/asylum seekers which, if they had followed that DoJ guidance would have violated export control laws (it was an attempt to ultimately get to criminal charges against Elon, imho.)

Emily Kopp tweet above says they are going from 2000 to about 1300. Probably a lot of other costs saved with not having to office and provide services for 700 folks. Likely plenty of graft built into those groups too based on who started them and what their role was.
