If she intended to run again she would have already announced. When you're the incumbent, you file on day one when the filing period opens, and hope you scare off any opponents.

You don't run for office and leave doubt as to your desire to hold the position. Dragging it out like this just gives her potential opponents ammunition for the campaign.

This is just the drama queen creating more drama during her pathetic, unfortunate 15 minutes of fame. The minute Anisse Parker filed, Dora was knew she was finished.

I can't imagine she can handle a real job. All this "I have to go mid day to my group therapy session" is a bad sign.

I don't know where she lives but I wonder if she will run for SheJack/Sly's seat. It's stupidly safe for a Democrat so she just has to win the primary. Of course that's a problem there if the wrong people.


She has made connections, done favors, knows where bodies are buried. Someone will give her a Cush job where she doesn't actually do anything and in a few years she will reappear for another election somewhere in the area.

My guess is that she's shopping. Some cush "progressive" non-profit that will pay her right without being too demanding.

She spent four years shopping for a gig in the Biden administration and they never took her up on that. I think she'll bale out for the right price and something she can spin as an elevation.

Probably a magnet transfer. I was zoned to Sharpstown but got into Bellaire in exchange for 4 years of foreign language.
