He adjusted his helmet then he tapped it like 3 times in a different motion after already arguing the call. I think he thought he would get away with it, but after Spring Training when players would do it whenever they got a strike, the MLB warned everyone this season that it would be automatic.

It really hasn't been a thing until yesterday. He deserved the ejection. he tried to hide his tap like a 5 year old and got caught, then threw a tantrum like a 5 year old.

It's a shame the Pirates ownership and organization is such a disaster because Pittsburgh is a solid town and PNC one of the most underrated ballparks in the country.

I felt the same about St Louis. when I was there earlier this year. Reminded me what it was like going to Astro games 10 years ago.
