Just a follow up for anyone interested, paid premium for second hand green lot tickets on Seat Geak (~$100, ouch). Very short walk, just over the ramp across the street and then you are in the stadium. Easy to get back out as well to the lot. Took about ~45 minutes to get out of the lot and clear traffic before I was back on 610... You also avoid all of the carnival festivities since you can enter directly into the stadium on the south side and avoid crowds to and from the stadium if you'd like to avoid that mess.

Also, Red Clay Strays put on an absolute clinic of a good show. I've seen them in person before a few years back and they continue to get better. Was a fun time, but now I am tired and must get back to work.

We did the 610 lot yesterday and other than the long walk back, it was a breeze in and out. Had some great club level chute seats that I picked up from a neighbor. Red Clay Strays absolutely crushed it. The set list was exactly what I was looking for and they do continue to get better and bring tremendous energy.

But what is the operating cost and profit of the carnival? Given the **** PR it's had this last week, I know several who have avoided it this year.

I'm seriously asking and don't mean it passive-aggressively. I know nothing about the finances of the carnival. But given the recent trajectory, it seems like it could be one lawsuit away from being a much bigger problem, I'd imagine.

going to a Carnival with the hoi polloi of Houston I mean what is better in life.

Fam wants to go this Sunday, last day. Mainly to see animals in the NRG. Besides the petting zoo, will there be any other animals to see? We normally walk down the aisles with the show animals but I'm pretty sure everybody will be gone. Little piggys?

All the show animals will be gone by then. IIRC the steer auction is Saturday morning so everything will be moved out of the stalls by then.

Sunday is a concert only day so I'm not even sure if the baby animals and all the activities in the little kid areas will still be there. Not sure how that works.

Everything will be open, but the show animals will have already started the process of moving out of the livestock area in the Center. Agventure area and all the animals they have will still be out until Sunday night.

Saturday will be business as usual. Like said above, the show animals will be gone from the center, but all the exhibits and everything will still be there. I advise to go as early as possible, to avoid the crowds.
