This is what happens without body shaming.

Chronicle Facebook has a post asking if there should be a dress code and comments don't disappoint.
Dress like a cowgirl not a cow was one of my favorites
My first thought is that I can't imagine any volunteers wanting to deal with that.
But then again, some of the women from gatekeepers might relish it.
There would be a waitlist
Reminds me of our teacher addressing dress code before our field trip to Astroworld. He told the girls to wear appropriate shorts and "I don't want to see any cottage cheese hanging out of your shorts"

iwlWelp, that solidifies it. HLSR had a great run
Just do away with the carnival. HLSR would go on and be just fine w/o it. When the complaints start, just play the videos. It's no longer worth the additional liability and security costs.
But what will happen to all the people who sell half price ticket packs?

Shame in general needs to come back in a big way.

Allegedly, a complaint has been filed with the Houston Health Department regarding Mama Tina’s Gumbo, including concerns about food handling and a reported illness. These claims are unverified and not confirmed by official sources.

Carnival Ticket committee sold $11.4M worth of half price tickets this year. The carnival is not going anywhere.

But what is the operating cost and profit of the carnival? Given the **** PR it's had this last week, I know several who have avoided it this year.
I'm seriously asking and don't mean it passive-aggressively. I know nothing about the finances of the carnival. But given the recent trajectory, it seems like it could be one lawsuit away from being a much bigger problem, I'd imagine.

Didn't watch it all the way, but Erkel has some tough words.
Wild year at Rodeo Houston: the county judge was banned, multiple fights involving gang members, and people walked around naked at the Lizzo concert.

Now Beyonce's mom's gumbo stand has been shutdown because people got diarrhea. pic.twitter.com/kGIKq5MJna

The Koe Wetzel show last night was great. His performance was a solid selection old and new. We were up in the Cattleman's Club and the acoustics were actually very good there.
