Isak looks absolutely terrible in this game. It's crazy how much money we spent on him

PSG may want to actually play Barcola, because for my money he's a better winger than Doue.

Yep. As we have all said, that signing has set us back years and was nonsensical in so many way . So uncharacteristic of Liverpool to chase headlines and going to pay dearly for it

To be fair to Isak a bit he's been Swedens best player this tournament by a country mile. He was fantastic in every single group game. Playing France most are going to look poor.

I'm worried his approach won't work with Iraola. He currently doesn't appear to have a very high work rate, something I saw when he played for Liverpool (but blamed Slot). He likes to play like an old school striker that generally saves himself for when the big moments arise. I don't think he has always played like this, as he used to be a winger earlier in his career. I have a feeling Iraola is going to ask more from him and will likely start by raising his intensity in preseason training. He will never be Bobby Firmino, but he needs to expand his area of influence if he is going to be an effective player at LFC.

He's definitely going to have to up the intensity some, especially if we play a the standard 4-2-3-1. But I think he can do it. He's actually a pretty quick dude when he's at full pelt.

What I think that we as Liverpool fans are going to have to realize here pretty quick is that goals are no longer going to come from the wings. Gone are the days where we have upwards of 60-70+ goal involvements from the wing. The goals and goal involvements are now going to come centrally, through a No. 9 in a more traditional sense. Thus our No. 9 will probably be hanging out up top in those attacking spots, and doing slightly less Darwin Nunez or Bobby Firmino. Not saying they aren't going to be required to run, but more so that we are not going to see them tracking back all over the field.
