I just got this mental image of Bregman, Correa, and Parades all climbing on each others shoulders and dressing up like one of those circus characters on stilts to play third base.

I was at the game and I will go to MY grave saying it was the slickest double play ever turned. Still remember the knot in my stomach in the top of the 9th.
My brother and I have a relative who had a connection with Barry Waters the Astros former traveling secretary. He got us tickets right behind home plate about ten rows up. The White Sox scout was in the seat directly in front of me making notes.
And Nolan Ryan's family was across the aisle on our same row. I just remember what a smoke show his daughter was and how lucky some guy would be to marry her!

Astros aren't that far away assuming more normal player health next season.

Pitching will be more of a concern.

Its fun watching the Jays hitting like the 2017-2022 Astros. Working the count, bouncing starters early, fouling off pitches to get another look, advancing runners with good situational hitting. All things the 2024-2025 Astros were terrible at.

just relentless.

Aggressive but doing damage, and then selective on chase pitches.

it's what we all want to see.

The Jays probably weren't ready for primetime, but I'm pretty sure most of us preferred seeing the Ms in '22.

'22 Astros v '25 Jays would be a ******* bonkers ALCS.

There's gotta be a free agent bat, not sexy, but who you could slot towards top of order and bridge the gap.

Kind of a higher OBP guy, not big power, who would keep innings going.
