It costs us several games early this past season when that was not established. We would start next season with a solid guy in the pen if Moss was not moved from there.
You need the progression though. Moss steps up from being "the dude" to a starter and someone like Lyons or McCoy improves upon last year and becomes "the dude" out of the bullpen for this season. Absent that progression, the team would not be in a good spot pitching wise. It would be nice to find another stud starting pitcher and keep Moss in the pen, but year-to-year, you want to see this progression as it makes the club better.
