Schnall has been mouthy throughout the CWS. This was just a matter of time.
Yep, and it started well before that exchange. He loved his pitcher getting the high outside call, but puffed up and started bakring when it was called on his batters. Ii don't like his zone up there, but at least he's consistent.
And I love the "1st inning" crowd, it doesn't matter what inning it's in.
It matters a bit because it's not like the umpire has been hearing it all game and finally got frustrated enough. He's so fragile he broke at the first criticism.
But, if you were paying attention, it had been going on for a while led by the 1st base coach.
By your logic, I can be more of an ******* in the 1st because I shouldn't be tossed.
Sorry, don't agree.
I'm not saying it was the right call, but Schnall was warned in the 1st inning and didn't stop. He has no one to blame but himself. Should he have been giving a warning so early? Probably not but we can't hear what was said and he should have been mindful that he had already been warned and he still came out of the dugout to argue.
He let his players down and showed his inexperience and immaturity as a 1st year HC.
