In the championship finals, the umpires have to show some restraint and give a one time warning to the managers that any further issues could result in an ejection. Just look at what Vitello did last year and didn't get ejected. There was no reason for any ejections in the first inning of Game 2 of the championship finals by the umpires. The entire umpire crew should be fired.

Schnall has been mouthy throughout the CWS. This was just a matter of time.
Yep, and it started well before that exchange. He loved his pitcher getting the high outside call, but puffed up and started bakring when it was called on his batters. Ii don't like his zone up there, but at least he's consistent.

And I love the "1st inning" crowd, it doesn't matter what inning it's in.

It matters a bit because it's not like the umpire has been hearing it all game and finally got frustrated enough. He's so fragile he broke at the first criticism.
But, if you were paying attention, it had been going on for a while led by the 1st base coach.

By your logic, I can be more of an ******* in the 1st because I shouldn't be tossed.

Sorry, don't agree.

If only we would've had our great team last year. Neither of these teams are 75% as good as UT or A&M last year
We were 2-2 vs LSU this year even with the troubles we had (and should have been 3-1 if we ran the bases better).

Yep. It was an uphill battle against those cretins anyway, but the crappy ump didn't help.

No they shouldn't, and none of us know what was said and warned before. I did see him go to his book to record a warning, but it didn't stop and the coach didn't retreat.

So I assume you are an ump or former ump. So am I. To toss a guy in the first inning of a game like this for whatever is crap. Sorry Don't agree.

I'm not saying it was the right call, but Schnall was warned in the 1st inning and didn't stop. He has no one to blame but himself. Should he have been giving a warning so early? Probably not but we can't hear what was said and he should have been mindful that he had already been warned and he still came out of the dugout to argue.

He let his players down and showed his inexperience and immaturity as a 1st year HC.

Horrible take in my opinion. Might want to Google Angel Campos. He is kind of infamous for doing this.

It's all the umpires fault! If the coach were in the dugout, the pitcher would've pitched better.

Clearly the head umpire and crew were wrong on this. You don't eject head or assistant coaches in the 1st inning of Game 2 championship finals.

I'll go with the guys who cover the sport for a living that had the same take that it was a full on ump show. They could have used restraint and chose to go for the big animated ejections and they'll skate without having to face any real scrutiny over it.
