Schnall has been mouthy throughout the CWS. This was just a matter of time.
And I love the "1st inning" crowd, it doesn't matter what inning it's in.
It matters a bit because it's not like the umpire has been hearing it all game and finally got frustrated enough. He's so fragile he broke at the first criticism.
By your logic, I can be more of an ******* in the 1st because I shouldn't be tossed.
Sorry, don't agree.
I'm not saying it was the right call, but Schnall was warned in the 1st inning and didn't stop. He has no one to blame but himself. Should he have been giving a warning so early? Probably not but we can't hear what was said and he should have been mindful that he had already been warned and he still came out of the dugout to argue.
He let his players down and showed his inexperience and immaturity as a 1st year HC.

Has nothing to do with balls and strikes. All about ego and control. And whether you are good at your job or bad, Angel Campos is bad. And that is why he reacts like he does.

Heck that one umpire tried to do the toss motion so hard he fell down and rolled over.
My hardcore LSU buddy said the first base coach probably called him an "MF'er" on his way back to first. My response was well he is one.Ray Baker said:Quincey P. Morris said:

Which guys? The ones watching on tv like all of us that can't hear what was said?
Sorry Derm, I love you as an Aggie, but this can't be a serious question.dermdoc said:So just curious, should the players or the umos decide the game?RGLAG85 said:No they shouldn't, and none of us know what was said and warned before. In the championship finals, the umpires have to show some restraint and give a one time warning to the managers that any further issues could result in an ejection. Just look at what Vitello did last year and didn't get ejected. There was no reason for any ejections in the first inning of Game 2 of the championship finals by the umpires. The entire umpire crew should be fired.

Of course not. But I should not be googling umpires names during games because of horrendous calls, And attempts to make it about them. And if you say that doesn't happen, I will do something,RGLAG85 said:Sorry Derm, I love you as an Aggie, but this can't be a serious question.dermdoc said:So just curious, should the players or the umos decide the game?RGLAG85 said:No they shouldn't, and none of us know what was said and warned before. I could ask an equally emotional question, should the players and coaches be able to run wild, with no accountability in the early part of the game?
