My first dog was a beagle and this is so great.

I was living for the summer near A&M Consolidated a house away from a major road. it was Friday before memorial day and fat beagle came to me. i kept him over the weekend, and by Tuesday when animal control was open i had a dog.

He was a good dog but man when he got out, he go out. Totally driven by his nose.

i had to give him to my mom when i moved to Dallas. I sometimes feel bad, but i gave him a good life.

Drew Goddard did an amazing job with a book that was harder to adapt than this one.

I have no doubt he nailed it.

lol we were in the same theatre!!! The Odyssey prologue was insane!!

Didn't see that. Must have been a different theatre. Just showed the Odyssey trailer that's already been out awhile.

I saw it at Gulf pointe AMC in the Houston area. There were no new trailers. 70mm regular screen, not imax. The flicker of film was a bit noticeable and the sound cut out for a second or two every 10 minutes which was annoying. Looking forward to seeing it on Friday again on regular li-max.

Going to OKC now for the basketball game. Planning to go see the movie on Friday afternoon down there. Anyone familiar with the theaters there? Was looking at the Dolby theater at the Quail Springs Mall, but it's a bit of a hike from the hotel I booked by the airport. It looks like there's a Cinemark XD a little bit closer along with a "Cine XL" at the Harkins in Bricktown. Not sure what "Cine XL" is.

Mostly looking for the most up to date theater with decent seats. I'll see it again in IMAX next week with my daughter.

He's one of the best. I just saw an interview with him stating "la la land" was his biggest regret because of his "la la hand" Saying if I knew this was going to be the poster I would have tried harder....

Harkins is good. Right in Bricktown. The XL is just a bigger screen and better sound. That theater was my family's go to for the hey day of the MCU run

I saw it as a special premiere last night and really liked it, I would note for the book readers that it follows the book quite well, even if they had to streamline some of explanations for the events and science. Ryan does a great job as grace and I have a very minor gripe from a change from the book, but I understand why they changed it. But they did keep the ending sequence intact so that's a great tidbit for the readers.

As a book purist and American movie skeptic, I do recommend seeing this in theaters and especially in IMAX, it was a great space scenic movie.
