Truth is, Texas is late to a party that has been going on for decades. You're just upset that Texas is fighting fire with fire, and this is the first time your party is getting burned.

The fact that anyone is arguing what they are doing is insane given what the democrats have done in other blue states for years. California is already redistricting again to counter the 5 seats they just gained in Texas. The won't even have to threaten to arrest anyone to do it. The sad point is that is the last state they can probably counter in as they have run out of other states to do it in as they have been so blatant about it. If republicans do the same thing in red states the Dems lose by about 30 seats.

CA is going to TRY to redistrict.

However, it's against their constitution, so they're going to try an end run around the rule of law to achieve it...

does anyone know the numbers on what the new TX-30 will look like? I though I read it was still a democrat district.




TX-9 in Houston (Al Green) goes from a Harris +44 to Trump +15. So his career is over.

on second thought, he could decide to run for TX-18 (Sheila Jackson Lee & Sylvester Turner old seat). I do not think anyone of note has said they are running there.

To the libs that complain about Jasmine, boo hoo. Tell that to Lauren Boebert whose Colorado 3rd district was redrawn to push her out. She moved to a new district and won and that's what allowed her to keep a seat in the HR.

Unfortunately with Crocket's blue popularity and desire for attention I think she'll do the same in Texas. There's a lot of dirty blue money that will follow her.

One of the biggest grifting pieces of **** out there. 100% fake, and riding the "they all racist" bandwagon and "orange man bad" as hard as she can.

It's funny how her interviews before running was a decently well-spoken individual. She comes out later with her "thug" mantra, which is pathetic, as she is making a caricature of the very people she professes to "represent".

It's interesting how quickly both of those two people passed away. I'm not really sure honestly. Al Green is a moron. I personally don't think Texas will ever turn blue but I guess we can never say never.

They were also close to losing several of the competitive districts in 2024, so redistricting is likely to make even more districts competitive. And with Trump's folks in place at DOJ, they are likely to be much more active at trying to combat some of the vote counting shenanigans that California had in previous elections.

Like they say it's not who shows up to vote, it's who counts the votes. Could not be more true in Cali.

I don't know the Harris/Trump numbers, but those assuming Crockett is done might be in for a very rude awakening!
