But how would I have known to look for them on social media?
Not my problem!
No, it's Gumbeaux Cajun Catering Co's problem. I love Cajun food and would have enthusiastically supported them had I known they existed. My suggestion was, if anyone on this thread hears of other similar "popups", please post them here to hopefully drum up some additional business for them. I always like to support local restaurants. Thanks for your sarcastic reply though.
Cheers.
Pretty sure the owner posted on here a few times also. Apparently people knew about them as they have a lot of Facebook followers and there were a lot of folks at their December pop up. Sorry you missed out!
Happy New Year, unsarcastically!

Did they ever start construction on that Javi's Mexican food in the old Red Lobster?

Something is going on at the old Red Lobster. Last time I drove by (last week?) they were doing facade work. Had new foam panels all over.
What struck me as odd was the Red Lobster sign on the front of the building was still prominent but looked different. Not saying that means anything, just seemed odd to me.

Back in June, La Madeleine announced opening in College Station by 2026. KBTX even published a story about it.

Not sure of its current status.

First I've heard of the Atwoods. That will be a nice addition to that side of town with Murdochs and TSC being across town.

This is the first time I've heard of this. I'll believe when I see it but I don't see the TDLR filings yet.
There are a few things not on your list, like Atwoods (north of the West Bryan Walmart). The Bank of America branch near the College Station Kroger is "temporarily" closed but these sort of things often turn permanent. They're also planning to move the McDonald's at Villa Maria and 2818 to a stand-alone location at the northeast corner of the intersection.
@BiochemAg97: On the side that TyHolden pictured it's still the same as what Google Maps shows. FWIW Google Maps is finally putting as Red Lobster as permanently closed instead of temporarily closed, as it was as recently as last year. (They haven't been clued on the fate of the Southgate Subway yet, as least as of this writing.

Not sure what status this would be under but Blue Moon BBQ had closed temporarily in 2025 but friends who live near them say they have reopened. I guess there was some bad road construction that interfered with their business or something. If true, glad they are back!

Blue Moon BBQ announced they're closing for good.
