I don't mind Spark, Tru, and Home2, but my point balance likes Hampton or better.

I think Spark is the lowest of their brands, so hopefully a lower price point for those that choose to stay there. There will be the new Hampton Inn just two doors down, so it makes sense to rebrand the older hotel to a "less nice" option.

Frustrating for 7-10 weekends a year with graduations and parents weekend. Ridiculously high. Yet supply and demand for those weekends are the epitome of capitalism.

I'll set up a nice tent in the yard and supply cots and even let you use the restrooms in the house for $150/night.

New fire station takes over all fire and emergency response duties for airport and TAMU properties nearby

Fire station near the hangars and wind tunnel gets taken over by the Gate 12 people and becomes a nightclub/ice house called The Firehouse.

It's on the shuttle bus route. Require no driving and parking, only shuttle bus riders can frequent the club. Fewer chances of drunk driving

Live music out there won't bother anybody because it's a freaking airport.

This is a win-win

The Otaku Asian food festival returns to Post Oak Mall April 25-26.

Something is afoot at The Stafford. Musician Chris Crow and an old friend from work posted something about "getting the keys finally" and a logo for The Stafford 1911, coming/opening in August. I hope to find out more.
