That stunt with the kids was horrific. Getting them in there trying to badger the commissioners to say yes or no with no motion is as dirty a political stunt as you will see.

Someone on the CC needs to ask her publicly to take a drug test. It can't be Ramsey but Garcia and Briones look they have had enough. Rodney is just sitting there trying to hide.

I never said anything about anyone here. On one side, the dems should have to live with this albatross. On the other, maybe the reps will work harder and smarter to keep it from happening again. But considering HTX is the majority of HC, it is probably futile.

It's all about the ARPA funds. I said well over a year ago that all this bonus funds were 1 time infusions. But what they did is greaty expand the county services and now they have 0 ability to continue funding. This was a known problem that she's ignoring and she wants to just raise taxes in order to do so.

Cut the programs you can't fund and didn't exist before covid!

I'm just not a fan of gloating at others misfortune, especially when 1) they aren't part of the problem and 2) sometimes you can't "Just move"

She's so bad she makes AOC look smart.

She makes a motion, forgets she made the motion, completely ignored/forgot the fact that she needed or had a second, tries to go straight to a vote, talks over commissioner who tries to coherently speak in opposition, waves around a stupid poster like a spoiled child, ignores the attorney telling her she is out of order, and then proceeds to assume the vote count of other commissioners even though nobody has actually voted.

If I were the other commissioners, I would call an emergency meeting and immediately vote to censor her, demand a public apology, and if she does anything remotely like it again, start proceedings to remove her from office.

Politics aside, she is emotionally and mentally unstable and should not be in office. She is an embarrassment to Harris County residents, but especially the ones that voted for her knowing full well she wasn't qualified to lead anything, much less the commissioner's court of one of the largest counties in the United States.

Yeah, she isn't running again. This humiliating outburst shot down any notion of that happening. If she had any shame she would send in her resignation letter tonight.
