Unfortunately I think Timber is done for the year. They said he was close weeks ago and we've heard nothing since which means he's probably reaggravated the groin. He maybe could make it back for the CL Final.

I feel like I was time traveling when Timber got injured. I recall him being injured, but I didn't think it was something super serious. Like maybe expected to be out a month or so.

It seems like it's been a decade that we've been plagued with crucial injuries @ fullback. We've had the talent, just can't stay healthy.
Need a gutsy team effort in that regard to hang on the last few games and bring this thing home!

Check out the ManU thread complaining about us scoring in a corner being just as bad a foul in the keeper.
I feel like we have occasionally gotten away with some on corners but that was a poor comparison to choose.

Decreases the chance White gets moved this summer. Given all the injuries we've had at FB, we really need a new young FB that can play both sides equally well.

It was a ridiculous amount of stress for 81 minutes all to be topped off by scoring late to win it then giving up the tying goal with a minute left. Then sweating out the VAR that took forever. Max amount of stress.
I can't believe the last two matches will be any different but they have to be. Don't they? Terrible Burnley already done for plus its at home and then a safe Palace that should be resting their whole side.

In truth, I'm sure England had picked up the infringement by West Ham's Pablo very early in his review process. However, the stakes were too big to not ensure the phase was checked in its entirety to ensure no detail had been missed. His assistant VAR, Akil Howson, is there a check and balance to help facilitate this process.
The arm action by Pablo across the chest of Raya clearly impacted the keeper's ability to do his job and could not be allowed.

We block/obstruct the GK in many of our corners but have never grabbed his arms or pulled him back down. Saw someone else do research and found that the only time we ever grabbed a GKs arm was in 2023 and we were called for fouling him.
The people beechin about several of our players grappling with several of there's before the foul need to STFU and go look at the rest of the league. PGMOL has allowed defenders to practically tackle (and in City's case actually tackle) attackers on corners ALL year.

There is thought that the general calamity in the box during corners will result in a new rule for next season where attackers will not be allowed in the 6 yard box until the corner is kicked.

As for those criticizing us, I couldn't care less.
Think they need to crack down on the grappling & rugby tackles on corners. That sheet has gotten excessive.

Honestly I hate that proposal. That will create a significant advantage for the defending team on corner kicks.
Get rid of all the grabbing etc., but do not give the defensive team an advantage on corners.
