I hope CB still plays. He could use the run.

Would be nice to see him get some kind of offense going. I think he's pressing to much. He was doing better in the California games than Vegas.

I'm not worried about it. I remember George Hill not making a single shot in the entire summer league. He turned out fine.

I'm not worried about him either. I would just like to see it for his sake. You know he wants to do well. I'm sure he will be fine but it would help his confidence going into training camp.

Yeah, I'm still about getting CB all the reps possible right now

I do think he will play more than most fans do. >1000 min

Good start for Bryant. Missed his first 3 but made his next 3 shots. Two 3s and a 2.

Even if he clears waivers, Spurs basically have to wait until the end of the upcoming season I believe. The Zydrunas Ilgauskas rule

Chris was always going to one of the LA teams or retiring. Good for him. I think our young guys benefited from a year learning from CP3.

That clipper team is old AF

I don't think CP3 is a difference maker but I do think the Clips got better overall. The Majority of teams in the west did this offseason. Suns, Kings, Warriors and Twolves are the ones that come to mind that didn't.

I think Paul would have signed somewhere else if he could have had the starting job.

Dallas went with DLo. Brooklyn drafted 4 Points in the 1st round. Orlando traded for Bane then signed Tyus Jones. Kings got Schroeder. Heat kept Davion and drafted Kasparas. Guessing Boston and Milwaukee weren't interested, and both are even farther from his family.

The Clippers did a great job this off-season, but they still have to rely on a bunch of old dudes.

Zubac/Lopez
Collins/Batum
Kawhi/DJJ
Dunn/Beal
Harden/Paul

But I wouldn't want to rely on all those guys being healthy. Collins and Zubac are both 28 - the only guys under 31 in their 2-deep. And even with as good as Dunn, Kawhi, and DJJ are at defense, Beal, Paul, and Harden are easily the worse defensive back court trio in the NBA.

I think the Clippers did a good job... and I am still not worried about them.

Imagine being ranked worse than the team that traded 25yo Luka Doncic for 32yo Anthony Davis and one 1st.

While not in the same roles, it's worth noting that the three men who built their dynasty, Gregg Popovich, RC Buford, and Peter Holt, are all still here. The Spurs deservedly get legacy credit for basically everything they've done for the past 30 years.

Holt probably did more to hurt than help. It was Gen McD that brought in Pop and Pop that brought in RC. At least Holt has mostly stayed out of the way. But he did force us to trade out Scola to save a few dollars.
