More importantly, starting PF Dominic Barlow had 13/8/5 while starting center Joel Embiid had just 4 points on 1-9 shooting.

Lane penetration is going to start being talked about in the same way as 3pt volume was. That's what makes SGA effective. It's what makes Fox, Harper, and Castle effective. With our PG trio plus Wemby and even Devin and Keldon, we are going to break teams down like no one else. We did it tonight with AD at full strength, Flagg, Washington, Lively, etc.

What we have in this is going to be extremely difficult to stop, especially when we have Wemby, Sochan, and Kornet rolling to the rim with the guards and all three are very good finishers.

Well the majority of the ones not voting for Prop B aren't seeing this game and don't give a crap about the Spurs. They would rather have San Antonio be or continue to be the quietest most boring large city in America and have convinced themselves of lies like "Billionaires getting tax breaks" in order to justify their stance.

The only thing that this game and hopefully future games before the election does is bring a lot more people out to vote for Prop B.

Just got back and that was a fun game! Victor is unstoppable! Castle was great but needs to clean up a little on when to push and free throws. Harper had a great game that could have been better but had some nerves at first (understandable). Go Spurs Go rained down several times and the Mavs fans were booing their team in game 1 of the season!

100% agree, but I'd add the real key is getting in to the lane and pressuring the rim. Last night Castle and Harper were both elite at finishing at the rim. Fox is coming and he also excels at this. Penetration into the lane is less effective if you're not going in there with purpose to score. If you can do that basketball becomes really easy and passing lanes for high percentage shots open up. I'm not sure how many dunks the Spurs had last night, but it felt like 15. Threes are great, but dunks are basically a 100% shot.

It's only one game so you don't want to overreact, but the AD and Lively back line is supposed to be one of the best and we dunked all over them. I can only imagine what this team can do to a team with a weaker situation of bigs when they are on like last night.

Last thing, if Wemby can be as efficient as he was last night on a regular basis this team will be a tough out for anyone including OKC. I wish either Keldon or Vassell was 6'8" and then I'd feel even better about saying that this team has the ingredients.

yeah that's what makes me happy! He could've easily folded, he started like 0-4, had a couple turnovers, and about 2 early fouls in the first quarter. He could've easily gave up on that situation, but he kept fighting through. His speed and first touch is crazy, that back door cutting will be huge playing with Wemby
