Rockets next three are at home vs. 1-10 Washington, 5-5 Portland, 5-6 Orlando. Could be a nice momentum builder headed into a pretty grueling next 7 days between Nov 19-26 of @ Cleveland, home for Denver, at Phoenix (should be easy), at Golden State.

After that is what should be their easiest (on paper) stretch of the season. From November 30-Dec 18th, they are:

at Utah
at Utah
vs. Sacramento
vs. Phoenix
at Dallas
at New Orleans

Just realized tonight was the game ol' Cam had circled on the schedule

So far he's made us pay with… 5 points on 4 shots and 2 FTs.

I'm not sure who it was, but I think someone had him watch some old Danny Ainge clips and said, "Go out there and be annoying as *****"

Haraassing the ball handler everywhere on the court and no-fear three point shooting. He might never live up to that #3 pick, much like Jabari, but if he can be 12-15 points and a harrasser in the open court, I'll love him forever.

Cam about to be 1-11. Nothing says getting back at your old team like being on pace to go 7-75 for the entire season.

Rox beating up on a bad team like you're supposed to do...and yep, Sheppard stringing together good performances is encouraging.

Rockets win
Spurs lose
Lakers likely lose (down 30 before half)

Nice night in the NBA

Reed's shooting is obviously his strength (and he was spitting flames against the wizards), but he has also been popping up with different contributions in each game. Sometimes it's assists, other times stocks and he has even been rebounding the ball well for a player of his size. He really manages to stuff the box score.

His work on the defensive end the last few games has been notable. He will still periodically give up an easy bucket because of his size, but he has been much more aggressive lately. I think he has recognized that it is much harder for the opposition to pick on him if he is using his hands to attack the dribble and passing lanes. Over the last few games, he has been much more aggressive with his positioning to allow him to use those hands more often and effectively. If he keeps working hard, he could average >2 steals a game.

Couldn't agree more. It has been a visible difference on the defensive end for him. This last week is the first time Reed has looked like he deserved to be on an NBA court. Feels like something clicked and he will now be an asset instead of a liability out there.

Getting all these bad teams (that we're making look even worse) at the start of the year is such a boon for building confidence and allowing our whole team to gel in their roles.

Thank you scheduling gods

The Mike Trout special.

"Trout first player with 12 total bases, 7 doubles in 18 inning game as Angels lose 14-6."
