You have to have highlights for a tribute. Him rolling his eyes at Udoka doesn't count.

Smart move by Ime to put Okogie in the starting line up. He works his tail off and can guard a wide range of positions. It also allows us to use the double big as a change of pace instead of a standard set, with the added bonus of managing Steven's minutes.

Gotta go smaller against Brooklyn since they start Claxton/MPJ at C/PF.

JO is a good hustle guy that makes a lot of sense, especially when playing a smaller team. Save your Adams minutes to body around Sharpe.

A marked improvement from Ree Shepard last night - 15 points and 8 assists in 24 minutes, 6 for 11 from the field, 3 of 7 on three-pointers, 4 rebounds, and a steal.

Taken with the grain of salt that the Nets are truly awful and are going to struggle to win 20 games this year, but maybe that's what this experiment needs is Reed playing against the crappy teams to get his confidence up. Last night was a master class in what the plus-height offense can do. Nobody took more than 14 shots, 7 guys in double digits, 58% from the field.

Most exciting early take away of all? Either Sengun is just hot or he finally got his ass in the gym and worked on free throw shooting in the of season. He's at 85% through three games - 5 of 5 last night, 7 of 10 vs. Detroit Rock City, and 10 of 11 vs OKC. He's been a liability every year of his career at the line, incuding 69.2% last year.

If he can hover around 80% from the line, he's a top 15 player in the league. Through 3 games he's at 25.7 points, 8 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 2 steals a game.

For all the trouble we had bringing the ball up, going -6 in turnover differential, and giving up open 3s with the big lineup we out rebounded the Raptors 53-22.

If offered we'd make that trade off every time.

Udoka said he doesn't know. Coming back from ankle surgery, so when he does come back, he will probably start off on a minutes restriction for a while as he plays himself into shape.

Defense needs a bit of work but I like what I'm seeing so far.

Offense looks good and KD is doing exactly what we brought him here to do.

He still made some plays on offense, just at not nearly the rate he's going to need to to justify his being on the floor.

He's blown by like a big on D. If not a lay up then a pass to an open player when the help comes.

Game before last though showed he can have a good game on offense, and we're going to try like hell to make it work with the 2nd rotation before playing Holiday over the No. 3 pick in the '24 draft regardless of whether he's better.
