No. It fits Augusta, that's fine….no way do I want a sterile environment at each tournament. Certainly not a Ryder Cup

I'd be curious to see the singles on Saturday, wedged between the team play. Apparently it has happened before. Is this something the home team can dictate, or is that a change that has to be agreed upon by both sides?

I am sure both sides would have to agree with that but TV guys and others wouldn't want it as the Ryder Cup winner could already be determined on Saturday.

The moment we've all been waiting for (Friday foursomes pairing release date!) is coming up at 3pm CT. I'm really interested to see if Luke is going to put Rory out first and embrace the fight or chicken-out on account of some sort of "Europe is about playing as a team and we're doing what's best for the team" BS. Let the guys settle it on the course.

They know exactly where Bryson is going to be and at what time. I hope the NYC crowd let's Rory have it all day if they dodge him.

Also, I'm not sure I've ever seen a narrative fall as flat as the British media and Luke's "pay for play" storyline.

Yeah, thing is they've got some dudes to send Rory out with.
I'm as big of a JT fan as there is, but you put him with Bryson vs Rory + Rahm or Fleetwood in foursomes and that's an uphill fight.
Huge boost if they win it of course.

Agreed. The worst case scenario for USA is that Rory/Fleetwood stomp Bryson/JT and silence the crowd from the start.

English/Morikawa have very similar games. Neither exceptionally long off the tee so both should be hitting the second shot from a place they are used to distance wise. Will be going up against a juggernaught though,.

As much as I love the pacific time zone for college football and NFL... it sucks ass for golf. Tough to get up at 4 am for the Ryder cup.

I don't know - get some good golf watching in and still hit the course for a late afternoon round. It wasn't Ryder Cup early but I always loved that when looking gong on the West Coast.
