some more searches indicates this is happening for sure. Residency.

I've already got my 2 long time friends in (both Aggies)

This is gonna be great. Man these guys are constantly coming up with new and fresh ideas to keep old fans coming back for more.

Question now is do we get any album play throughs (load 30anny), any non repeat weekend kind of stuff…

Maybe an eras type thing; all album play throughs. Man I'm dreaming now.

Way in.

Also in before the requisite "former metallica fan" that informs everyone that they stopped listening to Metallica after so and so left the band or after the fillintheblank album. GAWD that gets old.

How was his show? I heard he did a show in Steamboat a year or two ago & that he sounded like a bad Pat Green cover band.

Its always a gamble with him. When he is "on" he is great and as good as he ever was. When he is "off" he is terrible, forgetting the words to songs, falling off the stage, etc.

My company did some work for him & his wife YEARS ago when they lived in Austin... very nice couple.
He had a garage full of Miller Lite I think, gave me a couple of 12 packs because they were sponsoring him at the time & he had more than he & his band could drink!!

For those who have been to shows at John T. Floores Country store, do know you if the inside venue is open during outdoor concerts?

Like can you go in and chill out if you get tired and hot? I also just want to see the place.

So it's no secret TM has dynamic pricing for high demand shows so they can profit off higher ticket prices as opposed to old school where the price was set at on sale time and third party guys got all the big profits.

But, how come I'm not seeing the opposite? Why isn't it common place to lower ticket prices as the event nears and it isn't selling?

Look at this seat chart of what's left for Live/Collective Soul in denver next week. I'm no promoter, but I would guess this is what you call majorly unsold. Important to note; the lawn is not being sold at this show. Only seats.. so.. yeh... This is like a few thousand people in a venue that holds nearly 20k.

However instead of falling prices, the seat next to mine is $90, and I paid $72 on the first date they went on sale. So the price is going up????

These tickets should be getting lower and lower to find the market price, just like they do on the opposite end. They want their cake and to eat it too.

And I know it does happen, cause I got a ghost ticket the day they went on sale, and the day of show last week, the same ticket was cheaper by about $15. In fact I could have gotten club level for the same price I paid for my 300 level. It wasn't near this unsold though.. maybe 5-10% left.
