I recall attending a meeting where a democrat state pol pitched this to our investment bank as a "can't miss project", seeking our funding. I have never liked these types of solar deals and the risk officer hated it, so fortunately our group was a hard pass.

A few days ago in being useless: GOP Senators salvage 'green' energy bailouts. The usual senate rino **** bags: Murkowski, Tillis, Moran, and new Mittens John Curtis.

Specifically, these four Republican senators asked that a final reconciliation package forgo "full-scale" cuts of tax credits for the energy sector which includes those for so-called "renewable energy sources."
Not just no, hell no. Tillis desperately needs to be primaried.
