I know someone who was involved in investigations like these. He mentioned that sometimes law enforcement will fake an action publicly (communication/demands/notes/ransoms), to see if it forces the actual criminal to act.

Not saying that's what happened here, but could be.

Good Lord this sheriff has been all over the place. Here we go again. While the Pima County Sheriff reprimands the public, their story changes again.

First it was reported that "her children" dropped Nancy off.

Then, it changed to "her family." okay that's in the ballpark

Then, it changed to "last seen by her eldest daughter Annie."

NOW, it changed to "Savannah Guthrie's brother-in-law (Tommaso Cioni) was the last person to see Nancy."

Maybe it was mentioned earlier in the thread but it's kinda weird somebody of that status wouldn't have a doorbell or spotlight camera.

There were several cameras on the property. They were damaged supposedly the night of the crime.

I haven't heard anything about neighbors cameras.

The ring camera was broken off the mounting and taken, the question is did she have the subscription with cloud storage and who had access to the system that could turn it off or purge the video.

I assume the neighborhood is somewhat affluent so there could also be other neighbors cameras that picked up a car.

Not sure I am able either. I'm not going to be nasty to someone but rather just let the big guy upstairs sort it out when the time comes.

Heard earlier one of the people in the area said it's a night sky area, they purposely keep lights out when they can. Also, this is not a typical neighborhood with houses lining both sides of the street with cameras pointing out from the front door to be able to catalogue a lot of vehicles.

Its just small chat since there are not any updates in the last bit. But maybe we should have a dedicated thread to WH Oval Office measuring contests.
