The Biden administration knew who's coke it was but disappeared the evidence before Trump got in office. They admitted they had a print.

I am no video or camera pro but do even security cameras of 30 years old hold any data or isn't all stored separately on hard drive for wired or in the cloud for wifi/bt cameras???

Even the older cameras will have a certain amount of RAM in them to buffer the live video capture temporarily store short, motion-activated clips before uploading them to the cloud or saving them to a permanent storage medium. They may catch a glimpse of something.

Ok but don't those overwrite on themselves after what quantity of data or time typically?

The whole found another camera could also just be a ruse to pressure the criminals.

The fact that they've had to put up crime scene tape THREE different times, and forensic teams have had to go back multiple times, it makes me furious that the Pima County Sheriff's Department handed Nancy Guthrie's house back to the family while it was still an active crime scene. I don't think I'll ever understand the stupidity and incompetence behind a decision that reckless. People have trampled all over that crime scene multiple times, what was the damn hurry to release the residence, nobody else lived there, it wasn't like they needed to allow access to the dwelling, such a bonehead way to handle a crime scene. I mean within hours of her disappearance the same day Brian Entin was walking through the crime scene videoing the blood on the front porch. behind the residence where all those TPD cops were searching on the drone feed has been trampled through by all sorts of press. The entire crime scene is compromised. and if it comes down to prosecuting someone based on crime scene evidence, a half decent defense attorney will get all the evidence tossed because of the stupidity of opening up that crime scene as quick as they did. just Mayberry RFD level of incompetence.

Do you mean to tell me they didn't find this the first two times they were there? WTF kind of clown show are they running here?

I'll bet money that camera isn't 30 years old and runs a SIM Card in it that will possibly have stored footage. These days you can but a 5 TB SIM Card the size of a postage stamp for $100.

That's not a 30 year old camera. That looks like the TP-Link Tapo C120 which has SIM card onboard and can store video in the camera itself.

How in the world did they not see that? No one ever looked up the first three times they were there?

This is teenager horror movie level incompetence.

The scenario could provide useful information though. Did Nancy own any valuable jewelry? If on the initial police search they inventory items like jewelry and then release the house back to the family and then when they go back in a second time and jewelry is missing would sure look like someone in the family didn't expect Nancy to come back.

Pima County includes Tucson, correct? Isn't that a relatively large city (for Arizona)? Do they just *not* have crime?

How in the hell are these deputies so stunningly incompetent?

That's what I thought. Looks like the one I have in the back yard, but the new ones are wireless.

Apparently it was her neighbor that pointed out the obvious camera on the chimney. I'd have thought Savannah and her sister would have awareness of the device(s) and apps their mother used for security.

The whole thing is just so weird I can't figure out a likely scenario at all.

Tucson is larger than Atlanta for reference. I-10 between Tucson and Phoenix is called the smugglers highway so yes they've got crime.

According to the FBI Tucson has 631.94 violent crimes per 100,000 population, compared to Phoenix that has 518.12 violent crimes per 100,000 population.

Yep looks like the Nest Outdoor cam I have, and they do not have SD cards or anything, and without a paid subscription you'll only get "live alerts" but will not have access to any history.

They do have the capability to store some images internally if it is not connected to wifi and will upload if reconnected. Usually about a week of "events" IIRC.

I think they are misreporting it as wired, the only wire I see it the power cord from the solar panel

I suspect Google has the data anyway, though I think they deny this. 3 hours would have been available though, if the cops had been competent.

I thought it was interesting that the security cameras weren't on a subscription. Cmon Savannah, your Mom is 84 and lives alone.

Also, I thought it was kind of stupid for the Sheriff to admit to the press that the camera footage wasn't of use. Why give the kidnappers that information? Now they're even more emboldened.

I do not think she drove, certainly not during the night. Had not seen if that was confirmed. Could be possible the caregivers had use of the vehicle.

More and more this seems like caregivers took her or facilitated it. But who knows, very bizarre 1 week into this. Need Keith Morrison and John Quinones on this.

Prayers for the safe return of Nancy. Though I think it is not likely, there remains hope so I will continue to support that.

Today Show averages 2.6 million viewers daily and Savannah is the A talent making many millions a year.

She has had her mom on multiple times and now a home tour? Whoever leads NBC security should be fired. Probably that ***** that was running the USSS under Biden.

This is like Pelosis home with lax security and cameras. Wtf is wrong with these people and who they get advice from.

NBC could very well be losing SG if this goes poorly, tragically and that will be a negative for the company (for them, I personally do not care).

Just amazed at the level of even basic security. No life alert she could have hit or that would have alerted if disabled. Lots of unanswered questions and growing.

Any more intel on the Bondi connection? Pam said yesterday that she has known Savannah over 30 years which would take Pam to the earliest days on her career and Savannah back to or before law school.

I've been there a couple times, not only is it huge I was shocked at the amount of homeless / drifters just everywhere. Not even the downtown area they are just spread out all over the place.

As a long time aficionado of desert life, I say with confidence that part of the country is the prettiest desert landscape in the world. I make Tucson a stop on I10 when I drive between calif and Texas...The Guthrie's live in a bad ass part of town. It's really nice, buut...

They got very serious water issues that will affect life in that area soon...plus homelessness, crime, etc. They got big problems ahead. I've totally red-lined that area for RE investment,,,

Back in the '90s my in-laws house was robbed. The grandmother lived there and had various helpers throughout the day.

The robbery was very specific- in and out in under 10 minutes. Went straight to the jewelry and a big screen TV (which was expensive for the time) and touched nothing else.

They knew specifically everyone's schedules when they would be out of the house and exactly where to go in the house.

We always suspected it wasn't the help but someone 2nd or 3rd degree that used the help as a scout, but of course it was never proven.

I suspect something very similar happened here.

I have suspected that ever since it was reported early on that she liked to hire housekeeping staff and landscapers from south of the border. They would know where the cameras are, the layout of the house and grounds, etc. All it would take would be for somebody from one of the cartels to find out they worked for a rich lady in the US and they are given an "opportunity" they cannot turn down.

This is plausible.

Trump was saying last night that a "solution" was coming on this. If there is cartel involvement, I could see him getting the military involved, with a military "solution"/resolution.
