He has been extremely helpful, supportive and caring. It is a terrible situation and wants to actively assist.

Love me some Trump obviously, but don't think for a second her doesn't have a little twinkle in is eye that this is sowing favor (or maybe a favor) that could payoff down the road.

I think he is genuinely compassionate for Savannah and her family, just saying he always has a transactional approach particularly when it involves a public statement.

I mean, he has to be worried for his own family. He wont stay in office forever but the left is a weeeeird demented sick bunch. You have to be kind to those who hate you because it's the right thing to do. Plus you think of when they come after you and hold anything and everything against you ten fold

The FBI visited the house of the BIL and daughter and then went to their car and retrieved a tripod and lights. Definitely sounds like that was when the video was made and the cops filmed it. I imagine in the hopes that they get a message they can trace from the kidnappers.

Is it crazy to think the kidnapping story is a ploy to cover a wrongful death or even murder, especially if crazy family members involved?

So strange they haven't found anything on Traffic cameras or Ring cameras in the neighborhood. Would think by now their would be a "have you seen this person or this car" type APB out...Cameras are everywhere these days...Hopefully, they have something to go on. Maybe they're just not saying at this time, or maybe they do suspect a family member?

IMHO she's not, I think the ransom notes are nothing more than a distraction, and likely fake scams. But Guthrie is hanging onto hope because of the notes (emails). The Authorities are going through the motions for the benefit of the family, I'm pretty sure they have their suspicions but are unable to prove them. My guess is Savannah has been pleading with them to make this video, so to satisfy her the authorities assisted them in making the video, Savannah's thinking is she makes her living on camera and it's the only tool she's got. The other two siblings look like hostages in their own right, no emotion whatsoever. It's a sad deal, but I'm convinced it's an inside job, but the cops have no way to prove it yet, and may never. eventually they are just going to have to accept that she's dead. 84 in poor health won't last long if she were being held hostage, but I think she was dead from the jump and the hostage thing is just a distraction.

You hit the nail on the head with the description of the siblings in that video. They video itself looks like a proof-of-life video; like they are in a concrete bunker and its being filmed by someone sitting on the ground. It's just so odd and so...cold...which of course, isn't what the purpose of the message is.

I'm of the opinion that this was an inside job and she died in the house before being hauled away. I just wonder how tense it is between the 3 siblings as well as the one brother in law.

No. But your mother or my mother or well anyone most likely on this board would not be getting ransom notes to TMZ either. It's also likely possible that her targeting was potentially due to hers and/or her media daughters notoriety. So in that respect the whole thing is something of a self-licking ice cream cone.

I caught part of a Podcast this morning on the drive in... Not sure if it was a morning update or an episode from yesterday... But I heard mention the sheriff was back out at the property and the crime scene tape was back up. Made me kinda wonder if perhaps someone went back into the home maybe to look for or try to get the meds.

Probably just pointless spitballing on my part here.

One thing that is important I think... Blood dripped on the floor obviously means injury. BUT!!! The elderly bruise and bleed pretty easily. The skin gets "thinner" and more delicate with age. I noticed a photo in a X post, I think on this thread, of Mom on set at the Today show and there was bruising/redness in her lower arm and wrist. That's totally normal for an older person. All that to say, her bleeding on the way out the door wouldn't necessarily mean they really roughed her up, it could be a minor injury and something easily bandaged up. Good thought for the short term, but she certainly needs those meds!!!

nope and your loved one would not get special attention from the government

From what I read the Sheriff had closed up the crime scene but when Trump ordered the Feds to go in and take over the FBI re-opened it to do another sweep.

The FBI also went to Annie's house with equipment that extracts data from computers, SIM cards, and other devices. Supposedly it can extract data that is encrypted, password protected, and even deleted so if a family member is involved in any way unless they used a discarded burner phone to communicate the feds will be on to them.
