No you need a years worth in 7 days and then we don't have to do it again for 12 months. Waste of good rain over the last few days

I'll take this once a week, or 2-3 times a week being a light soak.

My yard, veggies are loving it.

Yeah this has been great for putting down sand and getting the grass to take over. Not quite complete scalp level or anything or the damn yard would wash out, but it's worked out for me to do about half height and fill in the low spots. I won't bother during summer when everything gets nuked.

Did you move here and not know texas has tornados?

To be fair it definitely is a North TX thing more than anywhere else. I grew up outside College Station and can never recall any tornados from my youth

It's ironic because I've been through about a dozen now and the one that came closest by far to killing me, was in Bryan. I just stared stupidly at it from my bedroom double window as it went over my house. Literally. Track was through my front yard, my house, and then my backyard and then into my back neighbor. Thankfully was pretty weak comparatively speaking.

Never expected it. I was just watching a cool storm I thought until the rain was whipping around like crazy in the street and it looked like a crazy mist formed and just came at me. Then everything went chaotic and things were crashing and breaking. And then it was gone. Start to finish (for me) was around 7 seconds at most? Tornado warnings went off about 90 seconds later. Neat.

He lives in dfw...I've lived in north texas over 30 years and Georgia for 15 before that, had multiple tornados in Georgia and nothing too close in dfw. Just dumb luck I suppose.

It's not like this in central Texas and the hill country, where I lived for the last darn near 20 years. I was forced to move up here due to personal reasons - one of the reasons I didn't want to move up here is because of the dog crap weather.
