I typically follow NBC weather and yes they predicted severe weather (none so far) but were clear the majority of rain would be Fri-first half of Sat. I've gotten 0.46" so far and no hail so I ain't complaining...

226 tornado warnings in the last 16 hours, from Arkansas up through Indiana. Sheesh.

6am this morning watching ch11 (padgett) and ch8 (fields) and they are talking about the storms out west and how big the hail is and not one time did they mention if those storms were going to hold together and enter the metroplex. Also no future radar cast. Maybe I need to try another station. I own a landscape company and trying to decide if or when to start my crews.

Going on a limb. Today has shades of Canton from few years ago when they got lit up. Same area in target.

The rest of this week's weather is going to suck. High winds and then rain all weekend. First three day weekend I've had all year and wanted to spend the majority of it outside with projects and riding the motorcycle.
Now I guess I'll catch up on interior honey-do's instead....
Exactly. Don't be surprised if it's a one shot event again, not strung over 2 days.BosAG06 said:
Don't get too excited. Last time all the forecasts showed 3-6" over 3 days and we wound up getting 2" over a 4 hour window.
4 mile run tonight. I enjoyed the first two headed north. The last two were pretty rugged. The Collective said:

Got lucky today I guess. Was supposed to be high winds today and the wind isn't even blowing right now. Just got back from a ride and felt amazing.

Well so far it had been a miss at least for Plano. Small shower around 5AM.
Put down sod yesterday so was hoping for a bit more.
