Left the Metroplex westbound today and miraculously found cover under a Dickens County building to escape a bunch of hail, then hit this dust storm east of Muleshoe. Areas of near zero visibility.

Was watching this too. He circled a few times then let a rip. Everything else looked to be circling southeast of DFW or diverted to OKC or Austin.

Not too bad in Parker Co, so seemed the hype didn't quite come together... thankful for that. Did get a ton of rain though, creeks running like crazy. Really sad watching all of this rain just run off and be sent down the Brazos and Trinity to the gulf. Know we are probably about to lock into no rain for 3 straight months.

Good wind & rain here in Plano. The rain gauge said 2 inches this morning but it probably missed a lot of the sideways rain due to strong winds. No damage and very few branches down.

His flight was from Easterwood to DFW to Florida. His DFW leg got canceled last night so switched to 6AM out of College Station. And of course his CS got delayed two and a half hours this morning, but my wife dropped him off at 530 AM anyways haha. We were both ready to have him back home.

One of the funniest posts on here was a few years ago after several days of school closures due to questionable 'hazardous road conditions' from winter precip, a parent posted something to the effect of, "I'm dropping the kids off at school tomorrow morning. Hope it's open"

Just downpoured in McKinney. Caught my wife and I out walking our dogs about a half mile from home. Our 15 year old corgi can't run much anymore so needless to say we were soaked
