I think he has always been a pain to deal with, but it is because he is trying to get the best out of everyone.
Remember when Paul was about to get the jump ball and he grabbed Wemby and made Wemby get it? He's just constantly coaching like that.
In an environment like the Spurs with a young interim coach, young players eager to learn, and respectful veterans Harrison Barnes, Chris Paul can be kind of an ass in teaching and growing the players.
But Chris Paul is on the Clippers with Kawhi and James Harden now. They just want to plant and smoke trees and go to the club.
Plus, Pop was there at the beginning of the year. I'm sure they had a conversation about expectations. I think Pop has respect around the league that other coaches haven't earned yet.

While that is true, Lue does have two championships as a player and one as a head coach. I think he has more respect than most coaches. Unless they think that he got those titles gifted due to Kobe/Shaq/LeBron, which is totally valid.

I can't watch Rockets games since I am in the Rockets market with League Pass. Insanely annoying when I am paying like $160 or something for it and can't usually watch the local games.
Since I'm in Houston I get told to watch Space City Network for Rockets games

Everyone is playing great because they know they get to hit all the Atlanta strip clubs tonight.
Memphis is going to destroy the Clippers on Friday because they will still all be hungover.
When he was with the Nets, someone actually did a James Harden stat on games after playing in cities with big strip clubs the players like (Atl, Hou, Miami, NYC, etc) and harden went from like a triple double to 2-14 shooting with 6 turnovers.

Harper had back to back travelling calls last night. After all the "he doesn't turn the ball over" talk, he had 5 last night. First one he just kinda juked himself on a drive from the three point line, second one he got caught in the air and couldn't find a place to pass the ball.
I couldn't care less, but it was kinda funny. He's going to be an animal as he develops.

Yeah, rough on that aspect. So with those five turnovers he now have 5 total in the 5 games since returning from injury. I'll take it.
