He has just as good a trade chips considering the amount of control, the question is whether he would move them. HB seems irreplaceable given the state of our pitching staff but he'd get a huge haul. Similar for Pena, though you have to find a team with a need at SS. Paredes will get less but coming off a really good season with two years of cheap control would also net a nice package.

I live outside Chicago and explained earlier this year with the trade that regular season Tucker and playoff Tucker are two different people.
Regular season Tucker: King Kong
Playoff Tucker: Donkey Kong, you don't know what will show up, and how he disappeared in the 2023 ALCS.

It went from 'you're just bitter' earlier this year to 'my God we got fleeced by yall' this last week.

2021 - Chicago fans cheer and jeer as Jose Altuve is hit by a pitch early in Game 4 of their A.L.D.S with the White Sox. They shouldn't have done that. Altuve responds by scoring four times and delivering a capping three-run homer in a 10-1 series clincher.

This video is a bingo card all to itself.

1. LMJ pitching great - although I think this is the game he got hurt in and missed the next 17 years.
2. Jose Abreu playing great defense for the White Sox
3. Martin Maldonado having an RBI single
4. Chaz looking NOTICEABLY thinner and in the mix on offense.

Honestly. I get ripped on every MLB thread for even insinuating it. But how does dude go from a career high of 34 HRs to 60+ just overnight? There's lightning in a bottle. And there's that.

Even in the minors, he never had more than 34 home runs. I understand tweaking your swing, but all of his other metrics are similar to career averages, except for HRs.

Yordan's career high is 37 HR.

In 2024, Yordan played 147 games and had 635 plate appearances, hitting 35 HR. Raleigh's career highs in games and plate appearances before this year were 153 and 628 also in 2024.
