I was at an AFL game yesterday and they're using robo umps for check swings. I think there were 4 challenges and 3 confirmed the call. It was pretty interesting watching the overhead replay animation on the screen confirming or overturning the call.

Pretty sure they said it'll be in the minor leagues. And it may be a standard but gonna be a lot of what people thought were swings not be. Bat has to break the plane 45 degrees past the front of home plate to be a swing.
