I agree that he was a highly questionable take. Maybe letting him go is a good sign that we may be signing one of the many pitchers from Tenn that jumped in the portal. We are still waiting to hear about who the last heist gif Bruany posted is referring to.

Decent numbers, didn't pitch against any big name schools. High Ks indicating decent stuff. Needs to throw more strikes. I haven't seen anything about velo/stuff.

Don't know about Max and the Pitchers liking him or not but according to parents of players while Yeskie was our pitching coach the players hated POS and Yeskie was the one holding the staff together. Yeskie was ready to go when LSU called.

Something like 11 walks in the last 4 innings pitched this summer I believe is what they said on the radio.

My point is he's the same a hole this year that he has been for the last ten years and he always manages to have elite level talent and successful teams. I don't see how going to a blue blood program is going to make him worse

This idea that Schloss is going to fade into irrelevance seems like wishful thinking honestly

He has already adapted to do those things better than most coaches as I have already pointed out, those two things are no longer "new" anyway. Again, just wishful thinking because we hate the guy.

Hunter is really good. I'm close with one of his former coaches and he has been saying for a few months that we might get lucky and grab him. 6'5 lefties who run it up to the mid 90s don't grow on trees.

Yes, just wishful thinking by some on here. He's a great coach but he's going to do his typical thing which is I hope continues to include never winning it all. Some great coaches just cannot get over that final hump and the longer it goes, the more the pressure will build. Similar to DVH.
