Trash HC? You are a miserable human being. Here's a novel idea. How about get behind the HC and players that are here and show your support? I'm sick and tired of the cry baby attitudes. Don't show up to the ballpark, so that there's more room for the real fans that show real support!Justice Beaver said:1991sir said:

Ah yes. Thank you, I feel so much better about our trash HC and mediocre prospects for fielding a competitive team next year after reading that 13 year old football quote/reference/TA cliche.
I disagree. If they think the coaches could benefit them in their draft year they will come. I think Pennington is important with the SS recruitment. They don't care about 2027 because they will be gone.Killzone3abc said:
1 year guy or not most wont want to walk into a situation where the coaches seat is on fire.

All about the NIL. Most these kids are signing with schools with only one year of play in mind.
As long as we are willing to shell out the cash, no issues getting a Top 10 transfer class.
Things can always get worse.Killzone3abc said:
You have to be good in the first place to have a collapse.

We get it, you're a better fan because you support no matter what no questions asked. Just keep shoveling money into the fireplace. It'll work out eventually.

No, I'm a better fan because I don't trash the coach or players. It's ok to say, we could've gotten a better coach, etc. It's not ok to call him trash. Do I think we could've possibly gotten someone better than Earley? Maybe, maybe not, but I don't make those decisions and I'll support who we have here.
You are likely talking to a child who could have used a few more interactions with a Yaupon switch. Temper your expectations.SHSU-AG said:Killzone3abc said:

True, but it's not just one child. It's a BUNCH of children.AgFan1974 said:You are likely talking to a child who could have used a few more interactions with a Yaupon switch. Temper your expectations.SHSU-AG said:Killzone3abc said:

tech isnt spending **** on baseball. The problem is while we will spend, we stunk last season and got a coach on the hot seat, who was close to being fired after one year. That doesn't help.24601 said:Reno Hightower said:dcg4403 said:

Wasnt it alleged that we had the highest paid roster this past season? Obviosuly all of that is speculation at this point, but its not like this team was not well funded in the past and there is no indication that it wont be well funded in the future.

Really it's not even about support; it's about not degrading a human being, especially over differences of opinion.

You're making it much more personal than it is.
Killzone3abc said:
He was a terrible head coach this year. Unlikely that changes next year. What difference is there between "trash HC" and "terrible HC"? The only difference I see is you reading some personal attack on him in one of them but not the other. Or are both over this rather arbitrary line for you? Do you expect every post critical of Earley to have a sentence or two about how great a guy he is so you know it's not personal?
thanks for the thread redirectionSpaceCityHawk said:
Anyhow, are all the transfer commits public?

We have 2 commits from FAU (pitcher and OF iirc) and a Juco pitcher afaik

Nope. but one that we thought we had committed to TCU instead.
