Seeing Rolling Stones in Houston this April - afraid it might be last shot to see them but we've been thinking that for years.

I know, I'm so torn for the same reason. Rise is now under "new" management and supposedly there have been some good changes, but I have not been since they were doing those. Sure as hell hope they find some way to make that place not sound like a (very loud) freaking cavern.maroon barchetta said:
Kinda want to see Mr. Big this weekend. Paul Gilbert is such a great player.
I hear bad things about the consistency of the sound at Rise Rooftop in Houston. It's good some shows, it's terrible other shows.
Not sure I want to spend money on a show if it's not going to have good sound. And not sure I want to travel this weekend. I wish this show was in a month or two.
Correct, it's now "Warehouse Live Midtown" instead of Rise Rooftop. They took it over at the end of last year.maroon barchetta said:
Warehouse Live is taking over that spot soon, correct? Or am I not remembering the details?

Mr. Big last night was incredible. Seeing Billy Sheehan and Paul Gilbert trading licks is always a treat.
