Agreed. He has a very short window of opportunity here, and so far he hasn't seized it 'enough', in my opinion.

There are other units better suited for this, like the local police and national guard, who haven't been used to their full capacity, the Marines is not the appropriate move, even if nothing bad happens this time, because it sets a bad precedent for the next time.
You don't think a Dem President would use the Marines at his disposal if given the opportunity if Trump sets it as an accepted practice? I just don't like the implications for future Presidents.

Depends on if the insurrection act has been invoked.
They were deployed in 92 to help deal with riots. Their role would probably not be law enforcement activities.

I've reached the point where I fully support using the U.S. military to neutralize anyone - including US citizens - who support an illegal invasion by citizens of a foreign country.
These guys actively pushing forward, using plastic signs or barricades, against riot control police shooting non lethal deterrent are CLEARLY an active insurrection
