I didn't say it was okay. And I clearly outlined the difference as a perquisite for using soldiers to arrest people. Murder of LEO, seizing buildings (or some CHAZ like bull****), or burning down federal buildings. Again, I want every illegal gone. I want those people throwing rocks at the cars arrested and thrown in jail. And given every bit the treatment the J6 people got. The lack of bail, solitary, kangaroo courts, the works. You want 10,000 FBI agents and DHS in LA and Cali tomorrow arresting these morons, I'm all for it.

But using troops, Guard or otherwise, to arrest people is a really big step. It's a really dangerous step later on down the line. So I think Trump is being really, really judicious here. He's giving these wackadoos all the rope they need to hang themselves. And I'm flying into San Jose for business next week, I'm watching this **** very, very closely and I don't like any of it.

So is all this **** bad? Yes. Do all those *******s deserve to be in jail? Hell yes. Should all those illegals caught in these riots be thrown out immediately? Double hell yes. Should troops be used not to just protect Federal agents and property but start arresting people? Not yet.

Again, that's a big, bright line that is like a Pandora's Box. I'm very, very hesitant to do that. I have no problem with LEO being embedded right next to them but marked very plainly as FBI, ICE, DHS, etc. to arrest people attacking them. Zero. But using troops to do it... yeah not yet.

Unfortunately Central District of California is 19(D) 9(R) not even 33% are R appointed. Very likely anyone arrested on federal charges will be let go immediately. Charges need to still be brought, but the judges will more than likely set low/no bond and be set free almost immediately.

If they can prove that those people called in the Waymo, whoever requested it with the intent to destroy it or or to bring it in, so someone else could destroy it that seems to me like they could put those people away for a few years and saddle them with restitution, that they likely would never be able to pay back

USNORTHCOM has issued the following 'mission statement' under 10 USC. for the 'protection of federal personnel and federal property.

At this time, there are approximately 300 members of the California Army National Guard's 79th Infantry Brigade Combat Team deployed at the following locations in the greater Los Angeles area: Los Angeles, Paramount, and Compton, California.

Additionally, approximately 500 Marines from 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines at Twentynine Palms, California, are in a prepared to deploy status should they be necessary to augment and support the DoD's protection of federal property and personnel efforts.

In almost any other state, I would believe this is well. Nothing of real consequence will happen to anyone in LA though.
