Not the case. He was voted in because his opponent was kamala harris.


That's one of a few big reasons.

1. Kamala sucked
2. The economy sucked
3. Immigration was a main pillar
4. The trans issue amd what that means

Harris was a historically stupid choice, no doubt. But, retrospectively looking back, im not sure it wouldve mattered. Trump's populist message was a winner. I think thats what the dems would have needed.

I've been following traffic patterns on Google Maps. Basically just a few streets around the federal area downtown. Everything else is open with no one blocking roads or anything.

The overwhelming majority of southern states were also fine with only a fraction of the areas consumed by battles and attacks. Once again we have the republicans overreacting to a limited amount of insurrection condoned by state governments. It was a disaster the last time republicans had to put down an insurrection...hopefully they just let folks have their way this time.

Except that it really has been very localized the entire time. It is not widespread like 2020 or Rodney King or anything like that. That's never really been up for debate.

That's part of the complaint. The local response should be able to handle it.

Oh man. Jeez, assaults on LEO and burning cars and shutting down highways and looting is only confined to a few streets. And it's going on for the better part of a week. But hey that's totally acceptable.

Honestly I'm of two minds.

Option one: swarm LA with more ICE. Show of force. Start arresting employers and going after gangs like crazy. Smoke out the NGOs funding it and start arresting people. Flood the courts to make sure the pain is extended as long as possible.

Option two: swarm LA for a few weeks then surge forces to red states, start crashing out illegals all over the place and push them to blue states to crash their support systems and fomenting huge social, economic and budget issues. Create a huge backlash in these states that aren't set up to deal with illegals (outside CA and AZ which have dealt with it for a long time). If you start having that kind of backlash and lose a state like NJ or VA, it's all over.

Either way is a win as long as we get way more of these people out.

Just because there is social media reaction doesn't mean that it' a full on revolutionary movement thats going to tip the country into Civil War........

Illegal immigration isn't an issue that the majority of the country supports (at all).

There are paid agents in the crowds. Stop the payments, stop the "movement"
