You would be wrong since the prior Administration abused this "status" to avoid congress. The daily polls show that Americans want them gone. These countries are not sending the best, Venezuela empted prisons to send over there.

I'm not surprised that Marxists protest about immigration. That's a given in today's world.

But what I can't understand is how many Democrat normies have deep empathy for people getting sent home, but no empathy whatsoever for the victims of immigrant crime -- murder, rape, drunk driving, etc.

Thanks, this makes it totally different. I was thinking strictly about proper paths to immigration, visas applied for outside of the US and legally granted. Also, valid political asylum claims made outside the US and the asylum seeker did not transit through other countries and not apply for asylum in those countries first (as per the law).

ETA: I'm familiar with what happened under the last admin and am all in on kicking them out.
